The CLASSIC Reference for Smallcraft Boating...
recommended by the United States Power Squadron and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary for their public boating-education classes. This copy is inscribed on the title page.
This is the 1969 - 70 Edition, published by Motor Boating Magazine, written by Charles F. Chapman, M.E. Promoted as " A complete illustrated course prepared especially to develop skill, pleasure and safety in the navigation of small boats on coastal and inland waters," it is still quite useful today, with 661 pages covering anchors to weather conditions, along with tides, marlinespike (ropes, knots, blocking), and yachting etiquette.
This edition of Chapman's is in good condition for its age. The cover, spine and corners show wear and the last page binding is separated. However, I did not find any notes or highlighting and the book is intact. Contact us for more info if needed.
